The instruction for work with a stripper of sleeves of the block of cylinders of John Deere OTC 1204
- Remove the cylinder head and pistons from the engine in accordance with the vehicle operating instructions.
- When working from the top of the cylinder block, adjust the puller cams according to the approximate bore diameter of the cylinder. This is achieved by turning the threaded rod counterclockwise to expand the jaw, or clockwise to reduce the spread of the jaw.
- Position the puller in the cylinder so that the jaws are below the bottom of the cylinder liner. Turn the threaded screw counterclockwise approximately 2-1 / 2-3 turns. This allows the jaws to engage with the cylinder liner.
- Lock the main screw with the lock nut. Turn the nut until the sleeve leaves the seat.
