The monodisc coulter is used in mechanical and pneumatic seeders of the Avers-Agro company:
Seeders Green Plains SD with working width - 2.3 m, 2.7 m, 3.0 m, 3.4 m, 3.8 m, 4.5 m, 6 m, 7.6 m
Seeders Green Plains TSM with working width - 1.8 m, 2.0 m, 2.4 m, 3.0 m, 3.6 m, 3.9 m, 4.0 m, 8.4 m
Seeders Green Plains TD with working width - 6 m, 7.5 m, 9 m, 11 m
The coulter is mounted on a parallelogram suspension.
The coulter cutting disc has an angle of attack of 7 degrees, which allows for “invisible” sowing with minimal soil opening to save soil moisture.
The coulter cutting disc is self-sharpening during operation and maintains a constant sharpness. The maximum pressure on the coulter reaches 210 kg.
The seed placement depth is adjustable on each coulter with a depth control wheel ranging from 1-9 cm. This wheel is located at the point where the seeds fall into the soil for perfect control of field irregularities. A metal disc scraper is installed on the depth control wheel for cleaning the cutting disc, which, by rotating efficiently, cleans the surface of the disc from dirt and prevents clogging of the coulter.
A plastic compactor (instead of a press wheel) places the seed at the bottom of the furrow, allowing you to sow in wet soil without the risk of discarding the seed.
The toothed closing wheel independently follows the soil contour and closes the seed furrow.
